Children raised by permissive parents are often described as “spoiled brats”, in other words they will obtain anything they want from the parent by annoying them. They grow up with a lack of self-discipline, poor social skills and communication, high selfishness and insecurity. A recent study showed a correlation between such parents and alcohol/drug abuse, which is understandable as the parent has less patience and time to deal with their kids, they prefer to simply ignore them.
