Reading While Travelling
Posted by: | CommentsTraveling is some people’s leisure activities and they like traveling few times every year. Many people like to pass time by doing various things when traveling via an aeroplane, ferry or train to pass time. A lot of people have their Ipod when traveling. Some planes have TV so many people delight in watching movies to spend time. Some just read bargain books so that time passes quick.
Most people delight in sleeping when traveling a long distance but some people find it hard to sleep on the plane so they will have to do something else to pass their time. Reading books and watching films is certainly one of the enjoyable time passes when you are traveling through on a place, train or a ferry. To be honest reading is not just about passing time, you can read books to grow your knowledge, or you can read something that can in handy for you in the near future, like for your work or school. I don’t know can be anything and everyone knows that reading is always excellent for your brain. It has always been proving knowledge to people so why not you take an advantage of it while traveling.
when I am traveling on a train or plane I always have mystery books and history books of the country or a place I am visiting. It’s fantastic to have some knowledge of the place you are visiting just in case if you come across few local people while drinking in the bar, you can have a debate in it. this knowledge can also be impressive amongst the women you meet there, hey you never know. So be ready for different adventures when you traveling away. She could just be your soul mate.
If you are traveling in to a different country then it might be useful reading the language book or dictionary just to know and say the basic words when you get there. Sentences like “Do you know how to get here?”, “Where is this?”, “please”, “thank you”, “how are you” and others can be very useful to know.

Would parents buy these old fashion books?
Posted by: | CommentsI’m a homeschooling mom and I am teaching my kids from ancient fashioned books.
I find the books online and since the books were first published before 1923, it is in the public domain in the United States.
Last year I just printed them out as they were found online on websites like PROJECT GUTENBERG. But this year I am kind of cleaning them up and making them look more attactive then printing them out for the kids.
I’ve been such excellent comments about them though that I am starting to wondering if other people would like them. I thought about putting them on my website for other parents to delight in.
I thought maybe of selling them or making a membership site so other parents could use them too for just read to their kids or teach there kids.
Would parents be interested in these??
I made 2 sample PDF files for you to look at. Please let me know what you reckon. Follow this link:

This is just an thought I’m toying with right now.

Just curious do small kids like scary tale books? I’m not talking anything gory or really terrible just camp tale sort of stuff. My one niece who’s about 5 seemed to like to tell scary tales and I thought she would like a picture book like that. Are there any excellent scary picture books? Would you buy them for your kid? Is that excellent for kids?

Get Help In Improving Your English
Posted by: | CommentsReading is an active process. You will need to be very active if you want to know something that you read. When you read it is vital to know the stuff you have read. Reading English books subsequently improves your English and there is no doubt about it. You don’t have to worry about the types of books. Just buy cheap books and keep reading week in and week out and after few months you will notice the improvements in your English.
If you are trying to learn a new language then reading is certainly beneficial. There are ways you can do this by listening, speaking and writing but reading can be more helpful than others. Read and then have a conversation about what you have been reading, this is a fantastic way in improving any language. When I started learning English I started with childrens books. I wanted to read simple English childrens books to improve my normal English first and then I went on to reading fiction books to improve my skills even more.
Reading books not only has made my English stronger but also has helped me improve a lot of other skills. I have come across new words which I didn’t even know existed. As now I know about it, I have started using it. My writing skills has also been improved significantly. When you read you get a excellent thought on how to write things. I have learned to add emotions and expressions in my writing by reading a lot of books.
Reading is most people leisure activity. Some like to read before they go to bed. Some like to read newspapers early in the morning and some just read magazines. You don’t have to read books to improve your English. You can just go online and read blogs and articles on your leisure activities and the things you like doing. You can read anything.
Oh and an fascinating video is up just for some entertainment in this post.
Where can I buy a book that has a cd/tape with it for kids to learn to read?
