Help on a Geography Summative Childrens Book?

For a Geography Summative, my task is to write a childrens book about Global Warming, but I am unsure of how to do that without scaring the younger generation.
If anyone could give me any thoughts about what the book could be about, then that would be fantastic.
The book is to be approximately 6-8 pages & as much detail you can give is appreciated as well.

Help finding a childrens book with a character Kandoo from the 80’s?

I’m working with problem kids now and I really reckon this book would be fantastic for them. Any help anyone has would be greatly appreciated.
It is not the Kandoo Kangaroo book. I found that one on Amazon too. The Kandoo in this book is not an animal.
