How can gravity be protrayed in a childrens book?

How can people believe the bible when it sounds more like a childrens book of fiction?

Dont get me incorrect its not as though i dont believe there were such events its just that some of it sounds pretty terribly written.
Maybe the bible has been completely overexaggerated from the real events?
I have to say im disapointed with responses …. i dont want to hear about why u should believe in it because its the word of jesus or god or any other things like that:

Why say things like: God Made Adam and Eve… stupid burning bushes…. Magical trees….. reincarnation…. spirits…. parting of water… magical acts by jesus…
