What age do you stop reading the kids a good night story?
Posted by: | Commentsazreale questioned:
I’ve read to the kids every night since they were babies. Now they are 8 and 9 years ancient. I’m reading them Lemony Snickets series of unfortunate events right now and am on book 11th out of 13. I feel like they are too ancient for this, so I thought I would stop reading to them after I end this series. Just wondering what age is average to stop.

Moms: What type of children’s books do you enjoy reading to your kids?
Posted by: | CommentsAxel questioned:
I’m going to make a bunch of children’s books that are not lame. I need some input from those awesome mothers who read to their kids. What are some names of books you have bought or delight in reading to your kids? Do you prefer rhyming books with a rhythm or non-rhyming books. Any input is very helpful. Thanks

How to get my kids interested in reading by themselves?
Posted by: | CommentsDaylily questioned:
We have been faithfully reading to our kids since they were infants. They like being read to but when they have some idle time they still choose TV, internet shows over books, they have not developed an interest on picking up a book and read it on their own. I wonder if anyone have any tips on how to get the kids read on their own.
