Why aren’t many kids reading Heinlein, Doug Adams, and Robert Asprin much any more?

Do your kids have a math packet and reading to do over the summer?

My Four Girls questioned:
In our school system, children entering grades 1-12 get a summer math packet, and reading. The older kids also have book reports to complete on the books. Does your school system have this? How do you feel about it?

Quick question why in the world is norton-symantec blocking kids from reading the news?

How many hours a day should kids spend their time reading?

Do you think kids should be reading the book Eragon in school?

I have heard from some 9th graders that they read Eragon in class! Is it becuase the book is excellent or that fact that it was written by a young person? If anyone under 18 writes a book does that make the book incredible enough to be read in class alongside “To Kill a Mockingbird, Leguin,Chaucer, and such?

I have heard from some 9th graders that they read Eragon in class! Is it becuase the book is excellent or that fact that it was written by a young person?
