The Day An Angel Ran Into My Room!
ByI have written a tale which has never been written before. It is the tale about a small girl who encounters an angel in her own room and through it discovers her immense power and her magical inner world.
The whole plot occurs in the child’s room. As she is going to bed at night, and questions her mother for the “usual” only 5 more minutes, she gets an unlikely visitor: her guardian angel.
The angel clarifies to the kid how vital she is in the universe, how every action she does causes a reaction, the importance of visualizing in her life to help her achieve her goals, of positive thinking, of finding her destiny and pursuing it. How our parents are our teachers and we are the students but how also we are all teachers and students. How every person you meet is in not a coincidence but is there to teach you a lesson. And how you keep bumping into the same type of person until you learn the lesson.
The message is given in a lighthearted way, in language the kid can relate to and know while driving the message across. The intent is to teach kids that they are never alone being that they have guides always looking after them (their guardian angels) and that they have the power to change their world through their thoughts and actions.
This is a Picture Book and is intended for kids between the ages of 3-12 years. It is written in a conversational style which kids can relate to.
The inspiration to write this book came from my kids who were 6 months and 5 years ancient at the time. I was going through a very rough patch at the time and felt very vulnerable.
I had also embarked on a spiritual journey. Through my kids, I was able to “see” all children, especially those that do not have anyone in their lives. I felt that , and perceived their “need” to receive a lot of positive and empowering information that I myself, alas, only learnt much later, as an adult.
Beyond this book, is a series of books with Angelisse, the angel, and Alessandra, the small girl, and her small brother, Gabriel & sister, Dani, as the main characters. The angel, Angelisse, becomes a source of knowledge and inspiration to the kids. As Alessandra grows and encounters problems in her daily life as she interacts with her sister, Dani, or brother Gabriel, as well as her friends at school. She learns how to trust herself as she gets advice from Angelisse. She learns how to follow her “heart” or her intuition and learns vital life lessons.
Themes will include problems encountered by kids nowadays such as bullying, terrible company, learning to say no,the importance of honesty,etc,etc
