Read children's books and get an idea of what those books are like. Look for things such as word use, moral/lesson, plot line. All of these must be simple and clear.

Start off with a outline of the story, write it out with illustrations if included. Then you can get it published, you don't need a published agent and all that hassle. A small fee would have it bind and ready.

My friend is a comic artist, he drew out a story and had it published locally. Then he tried to submit copies of it to competition and contest. ^^ Happy writing. You can also published it on a website so other people can see your work!
