When do most American colleges on Semester system return to class? I want to sell some text books on ebay

If you want to sell your books, post them the last week in August. Many students will be back by then, and may even have had the opportunity to get their hands on the syllabus for their courses even if classes have not started yet. This is what I plot to do with some books I have from my spring courses. Also, consider Amazon for books too, whenever I was buying books I always looked there, I never really went to ebay for books.
