just reckon of a characther and thought and develop it. consider what age group you want to write for and try to write something that hasn’t been overdone, excellent luck
um……
well i swear i dont no..but i dont no y am i answering this question????
everybody has to question a questions like u…
cuz they dont no wut to question and just place stupid things…
man….
thanx 4 ur nice question
but sorry that i dont no wut book to write..lol..im 16
first u need to reckon of an age group and what u want to write about e,g self help like toileting and hygiene. Kid like books that they can interact with such as lift the flap and touch and feel books have a reckon about what sort of book u want to write first and give us more details
you can use your imagination!
childrens books are best when repetitave and so the kids will start to learn things and perhaps get involved when reading the books
just make up some tale by urself.
I know that the publishing company I’m under contract with is looking for children writers. Theyu offer a hefty advance, two yr publishing contract and more. J
Children’s books are written for 2 purposes, either to teach a moral or lesson, or to teach an academic skill.
If you are going to write a traditional narrative, such as a fairytale, you need to deccide the moral. Then you need a villain and a hero.
If you are going to write to teach an academic skill, choose what you are going to teach first, such as what Eric Carle’s tales, teach Days of the Week, furits, etc.
Choose what audience you are writing for, is it very young chidren, elementary aged children or older.
Then read some children’s lit, go to Border’s have coffee and readd for a while.
If you are writing for a young audience you need minimal language on the page, and very colorful illustrations. If you are not articistic you will need an artist.
just reckon what a child would like. then keep on writing
You can’t just like “at least some [childern]” and expect to be able to write a childrens book you moron. Learn and remember this phrase “NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND”! I hope you fail miserably. How dreadful you reckon that way, no child deserves not to be liked, all childern are wonderful. I hope you didn’t really mean what you said!!!
