What were the old childrens books, where the titles were kids names, and they rhymed?
Byobscuredestiny questioned:
What were the ancient childrens books, where the titles were kids names, and they rhymed?
I guess I wasnt clear enough. They were two word titles of a kids name, and both words started with the same letter. Lucky Linda, stuff like that. The illustrations in it werent that fantastic, they were bright colors.

Dick and Jane…maybe…
Hope This Helps!
Obscuredestiny, if no one comes up with the title here you may want to give this website a try:
It’s a pretty excellent website. You give them as much info as you have (like plot details or character names) on the book you’re looking for, and they’ll do their best to find the title for you. Try them, they’re a really free service.
Excellent luck in your book search and pleased reading!
All I can reckon of were the books that were similar to “Where’s Waldo” that were done by Tony Tallarico: Look for Laura, Hunt for Hector, Search for Sam, Look for Lisa, Find Freddie, Search for Susie, etc.
How long ago did you read these, and where did you live? If you can remember one certain title (I didn’t find a Lucky Linda), that can often lead to the rest.
I’ll check back to see if you add any more details — or you can email me directly. I’d also like to suggest some other websites where you can post your description:
Excellent luck!
