Quick question why in the world is norton-symantec blocking kids from reading the news?

The Norton setting must be set to block all forms of violence. They can be modified in the options. Hope that helped.
the news ie. the world is not fitting for kids to watch :S
doesnt make much sense to me either
even if the news may be violent it is still more suitable than the violence that is targeted towards children in other forms.
Use Avast! or AVG.
Symantec and McAfee are worse than viruses.
